Wash Guide
Wash care label
- All yawning yolk will have a wash care label on the lower left side of the clothing. Use this as a quick go-to guide on how to wash.
Wash before using
- Baby’s skin is more sensitive than of an adult. Therefore, we recommend washing your yawning yolk before using. This removes any impurities that might have come into contact with the clothes.
Turn inside out
- Before washing, turn clothes inside out and snap all snap buttons. This will preserve the quality and color of the clothing.
Wash at a low temperature
- Warm water is crucial to the washing process because it naturally helps remove minor stains. For better results, wash at 30C / 85F.
Do not tumble dry
- Organic cotton is a natural, chemical-free fabric. As with all cotton clothing, minimal shrinkage is normal. With the heat of tumble dryers, cotton fabrics might shrink excessively. We recommend not using a tumble dryer.
Iron as needed
- Iron as needed and avoid ironing the yawning yolk label.
Do not bleach
- We do not recommend bleaching the clothes as this may weaken and break down the fibers of the organic cotton.
